.vob format - Samsung 46" - LE46C650

I have the following files, which form a full movie. They were copied to a USB stick.

VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_2.VOB

They are both found on my USB stick when I plug it into my television, but only the first file (VTS_01_1.VOB) is supported and played. For the second file, a message comes up stating "Video Codec Not Supported".

Both files play perfectly fine on my PC!

How do I fix this? Please advise!

akadir_uk,

I saw a similar complaint on this, and advise the person to try to name the second file something different. I haven't seen an answer posted yet, so maybe try using that.

I'm not sure why it wouldn't work, but I'd be interested in gathering feedback to escalate.

The first VOB file on a ripped dvd plays fine, but then several in a row give the "unsupported video codec" error, then around the 5th file it starts playing again.

I just upgraded firmware a week or so ago, but still getting the error. Is there any new info regarding this? Thanks.

Which codec is used in the movie? Is it on the list of codecs supported by your TV? If it isn't supported it won't work.

Then you can view it on your TV?

All These .vob Files are viewable on Laptop having DVD. But one of the 3 files is not viewable on Samsung4 series LCD by using USB.

I don't know how to check that where to see the list of Codecs supported by LCD?? If 2 files are viewable and 1 file is not viewable, then surely codecs should have supported for the 3rd file.
